I’m a multi-passionate professional with a creative and technical mindset, always eager to learn and grow. My diverse background spans teaching, media, retail, and marketing. I’ve most recently worked as a K-5 Computer Science & Digital Fluency teacher, improving my school’s typing speed and accuracy—67% of 2nd-5th graders increased their typing speed by at least 5 WPM, alongside learning coding, digital arts, GAFE, and general computer usage skills. Previously, I transitioned my school to digital learning during the COVID pandemic while working as a third-grade teacher and have also taught Kindergarten. In all of these roles, adapting and creating curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.In my role as Operations and Creative Manager at Denver Metro Media, I oversaw day-to-day operations for a hyper-local newspaper publisher. I managed distribution, classified ad sales, and the production of three community newspapers, while collaborating with clients to design ads and layout using Adobe Creative Suite. I earned multiple state awards from the Colorado Press Association for my work.At Michaels Stores, I led the Framing department, creating custom designs with customers and overseeing the production of 100+ projects weekly, ensuring high standards. I also worked as a Sales and Replenishment Associate, focusing on excellent customer service and store presentation.At Office Depot, I progressed from Copy & Print Associate to Assistant Manager. In these roles, I managed merchandising, inventory, custom print work, and technology services, while maintaining loss prevention standards and creating positive customer experiences.Currently, I’m pursuing a Data Analysis in Python career track at DataQuest, developing expertise in Python, SQL queries, data cleaning, and data visualization. I’m also proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, having completed a Full-Stack Development Bootcamp at Coding Dojo with highest honors in Python, MERN, and Java stacks.I’m passionate about joining a company aligned with social initiatives like environmental responsibility, ethical labor practices, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
