In my current role, I Manage the majority of the contracts and formal solicitations (Bids) for our Culture, Parks, and Recreation department and our Information ann Technology department. I draft, modify, and distribute a wide variety of contracts for these departments. I also have experience with our procurement system Oracle.In my role, I have been working with the head of IT to refresh our IT Master Service Agreement as it has not been updated from 2015 (estimated). I have also had the opportunity to help update our Public art and Public Performance contract templates. I also spear-headed the creation of our non-bid construction contract that we are currently using for our Playground projects.While working with the City I have had the opportunity to restart our COOP partnerships. OMINA Partners, Sourcewell, NASPO’s, and MAPO are my primary clients for our COOPs. COOPs are private entities that gather large companies (like Lowes, Home depot, etc) and work with them to help fulfil large contracts for governmental entities. Our program has been “on-ice” since 2018 and I have made great strides in creating Standard-Operating-Procedures for COOP Purchases.

In this role I was in full control of the governmental bid process and was responsible for the creating and signing of these government contracts. I worked directly with our head of legal, our CFO, and the new president. I was also instrumental in the automation of my position, reducing the weekly workload from 50–55 hour weeks to 40-45. During my time here I also assisted our Safety Compliance team in creating systems to ensure workplace safety across the company.
