Principal responsibilities include transportation and land use system planning, environmental impact assessment and compliance documentation, economic analysis modeling, socioeconomic analysis with a specialization in environmental justice, Title VI, and Limited English Proficiency (LEP) analyses, transit and non-motorized transportation network planning, public policy analysis, transmission line corridor planning and site planning for wind energy developments. Project manager, principal planner, task lead, and quality control reviewer for planning studies and environmental review documents including Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, Alternatives Analyses, policy review reports, and public utility permit applications. Substantial public participation and community outreach experience working with policymakers and the public for effective community engagement on diverse and complex transit projects and public utility corridor projects. Responsible for developing and integrating GIS databases to analyze and effectively communicate transit, transportation, land use and socioeconomic issues to the public, policymakers, and project stakeholders for planning and policy analysis. Thorough knowledge of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) technical planning and analytic processes. Detailed knowledge and extensive use of economic analysis and forecasting models including IMPLAN, RIMS II, REMI, JEDI, and MGM2.
