I received my Ph.D. in Physics from Stony Brook University in 2024, with a focus on computational condensed matter research. My thesis covered topics from the free energy characteristics of ion solvation in water, to how dielectric screening modifies Coulomb interactions, to machine learning applications in electronic structure calculations using density functional theory. I am passionate about scientific communication and believe in increasing accessibility to scientific knowledge for the betterment of society.I am currently an Awards Program Manager (Physical Sciences and Engineering) at the New York Academy of Sciences, and assist in the administration of the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists and the Tata Transformation Prize.
