I am an experienced and versatile people, project and programme manager, with over a decade's experience working at the forefront of environmental and climate policy and practice across both land and sea. I am proud to be Director of Policy and Research at Oceana UK, working on major campaigns on oil and gas, habitat protection and overfishing.I previously led WWF's production policy team in the UK, covering all policy relating to agriculture, land use, seafood, fisheries and trade, as they relate to reversing the loss of nature and tackling climate change. I also set up and managed a major multi-million pound cross-team programme within WWF on agriculture and climate change, kindly supported by the Quadrature Climate Foundation. This used insights, narrative testing, on the ground fieldwork and policy to drive action to decarbonise farming and land use in ways that work for both farmers and nature. My background is in ocean conservation and policy, and I was also extremely lucky to lead WWF UK's ocean work up to 2020, from fisheries policy to seagrass restoration, as well as working on marine policy for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).
