LEONI is a worldwide company with over 95,000 employees located in 27 countries, and manufactures and distributes wire harnesses for the transportation industry. I was placed in Kitzingen, Germany at the worldwide headquarters, working specifically on Truck and Powertrain harnesses. I worked in the change management department, providing support and engineering to the team. I also helped on the VAVE team, helping to reduce costs and find fitting alternatives for our customers. Working in a different country for 8 months at such a diverse company helped me expand my cultural awareness and problem solving skills.

Oakland, California, United States

Located in Oakland, California, I completed a four month Co-op with Helix Electric. Helix Electric is a electrical contractor who exceeds in preconstruction, construction, BIM/Engineering and prefabrication. Being my first internship of four, I took this experience to learn about my professional goals and push myself out of my comfort zone. I took every opportunity to display leadership and organization, while performing important tasks to keep jobs running smoothly.Mainly acting as a bridge between the office and the field, I communicated effectively with employees on both sides and maintained great relationships with project managers, project engineers, contractors, and workers. By the end of four months working at Helix Electric, I learned a great deal about communication, project engineering, and professional relationships.
