• Evaluated and underwrote loan applications for auto financing from a territory of 250+ dealers throughout the state of Virginia. Operated in a fast paced, high volume environment where typical response time was less than 5 minutes and would typically decision up to 100 applications per day.• Conducted thorough due diligence, including analyzing borrower’s credit report, income & asset documents, employment and housing history, and collateral condition and value. Balanced sales targets and production goals with acceptable Regional Acceptance / Truist risk standards.• Developed strong working relationships with all levels of dealership personnel (from General Mgr to sales people) to secure loan package submissions. Worked with internal and external partners to expedite funding loan packages in a timely manner to increase future submissions.• Used Salesforce to track dealer interactions and identify / communicate new sales opportunities as well as dealers that have potential to increase current business levels. Identified targets for cross selling potential within other lines of bank business such as Wealth, Insurance, Lightstream, etc.

• Proactively managed a portfolio of 50+ bank owned residential homes. Responsibilities included bringing the property through the end of the foreclosure cycle, defining & coordinating scope of repair work, providing valuations to multiple stakeholders, preserving the property, and selling the property on the open market. Typically averaged 30-40 sold properties / year with average dollar volume in the $8-10 million range on a yearly basis.• Developed relationships with asset managers & portfolio managers that are responsible for assigning the foreclosed properties to local real estate agents. Have more than doubled the amount of companies we received business from over the past 2 years so that we are trending up currently in volume while the overall industry is trending downwards. Achieved results through networking, developing & displaying proven management systems for properties, and achieving above industry standard ROI on repaired / rehabilitated homes and bring them in typically under the allotted time specification.• Evaluated potential ROI and developed scope of repair bid for contractors to repair assigned properties. When approved I coordinated the repairs with the contractor and was responsible for communicating progress to investors and evaluating and signing off on quality of repair work. In 2019 we repaired just over 20% of our assigned properties which is much higher than traditional for the industry. This resulted in greater overall return to the banks when the assets were sold even taking into account longer carrying cost while the repairs were taking place.• Identified residential homes to purchase, renovate, & then sell (commonly known as flipping). Currently growing this as a larger portion of my real estate business. Coordinating with a business partner in Maryland and responsible for all facets of the process from acquisition though sale.

• Averaged more than $1 million / month in residential loan originations for 2012-2014. Consistently ranked in top 15% of new loan officers and in top 40% of company as a whole.• Originated retail Conventional and Government home mortgage loans. Responsible for all front end functions of the mortgage process including counseling and prequalifying borrowers, completing loan applications, gathering needed documents, and communicating status to all parties involved.• Developed new business through face to face appointments, networking, and email / print campaigns and kept in constant contact with previous customers for potential referrals and continuing business.• Conducted group and 1 on 1 trainings with referral partners (specifically realtors and financial planners) to educate them on mortgage topics and social media marketing.• Coordinated with loan underwriters / processors to ensure loan moved through correct channels smoothly in order to meet targeted closing dates. • Developed and maintained broker relationships throughout the greater Richmond / Central Virginia area. Tasks included pre-qualifying, structuring, submitting loans and working with internal staff to close and fund loans from the brokers within my territory. Responded quickly to broker calls / emails regarding scenarios as well as questions regarding loans in process. Fundings for 2005 / 2006 averaged 35-45 loans / month for approximately $7-8 million / month. For 2007-2009 averaged 20-25 loans / month for $5-6 million. • Member of Option One’s National Sales Advisory Committee and Automated Underwriting Committee. Worked closely with Option One senior management to provide insight and direction into a variety of issues involving AE’s such as compensation, product mix, strategy and technology integration. Helped develop, test, and introduce automated systems for use by AE’s and Option One brokers.• Served a technology liaison for the Herndon / Sterling branch AE’s. This involved testing new technology (laptops, blackberry) and then training branch AE’s on usage and application to daily tasks. Helped at National Sales Meetings with technology related sessions and rollouts. Traveled to other branches to work with AE’s on similar tasks both at the branch and at sales meetings.• Appointed as a peer trainer to conduct and supervise training of new Account Executives. Responsibilities of the peer trainer include one on one coaching sessions in the trainers / trainees market area, weekly review of progress, daily monitoring of applications / fundings and serving as the mentor to the new AE with quick availability to answer questions via phone / email.
