Out of 400+ applicants from across Africa, I was one of 29 selected for the Kinjani Venture Builder program, which focused on ideating, prototyping, and developing Climate-Tech startups. The program's mission was to address the challenges posed by the climate crisis through innovative adaptation and mitigation solutions. It aimed to create profitable, scalable, and climate-smart businesses for the green economy. The cohort included experts from diverse scientific and commercial backgrounds, offering a wealth of knowledge and collaboration opportunities. This experience marked the beginning of my transition into entrepreneurship, equipping me with the tools and mindset to build sustainable ventures in the green economy.
