Working on the renovation of a number of buildings and rooms at Coleg Y Cymoedd Rhondda campus.Roles included receiving and processing PMI's, procuring materials and labour, setting out, managing designs to ensure everyone was working to the most up to date drawings working closely with the consultants to overcome issues on site. I also had a short period of time of working as acting project manager whilst the current was off with illness, this involved getting areas of the building up to standard to handover to the client.

Working as an engineer on the £24M Torfaen 6th Form project in Cwmbran.Roles included setting out and checking groundworks, setting out walls.Completing quality documents, reviewing method statements, snagging works and liaising with sub contractors to ensure that the project flows smoothly

Working in Strategic Projects on the £75m Selly Oak Shopping Park project which involves 14 retail units, a Sainsbury's on stilts with an undercroft car park and an 18 story precast student accommodation.Main responsibilities include:• Setting out and surveying• Inspecting pre-cast panels prior to site installation• Maintaining main contractor responsibilities such as site inductions, fire marshal, issuing permits and keeping health and safety standards high• Completing weekly inspections and training new users to operate mast climbers• Updating as-built drawings and giving information to the client, architects and sub-contractors• Liaising between sub-contractors to help the sequence and program run smoothly and as expected• Leading and taking minutes for progress meetings with sub-contractors• In charge of snagging all toilet pods in the student accommodationInformation about the scheme: https://sellyoakshoppingpark.co.uk

Working as a trainee engineer on one of seven schools being constructed (Stopsley High School, Luton) in the HLR priority schools project undertaken by Interserve.My roles on this placement were to give inductions to new operatives, carry out quality assurance checks on the new building and rooms, carry out jobs given to me by the team and to also carry out a weekly KPI (Key Performance Indicator) for my project manager.

Working as a trainee engineer on one of seven schools being constructed (Stopsley High School, Luton) in the HLR priority schools project undertaken by Interserve.My roles during this placement were to survey and set out services and the new building. I also gave inductions to new operatives on the site, assisted with the supervision of demolition of part of the previous school and undertook any jobs requested by the senior engineer, construction manager and project manager.
