To whom it may concern: I am writing with the hope of obtaining employment within your organization. This position sounded particularly interesting to me as I am currently seeking to gain further practical experience within my field of study.The described field of employment that are encompassed in your agency appears to entail precisely the type of further experience I would like to obtain. As indicated in my attached resume, I obtained a diploma in Media Arts/Fashion Business at Humber College. The theory involved in my program study included Marketing, Sales, Event Planning, Advertising, and a variety of computer skills. In addition to my recent studies, I also have experience in the field through several volunteer opportunities that I participated in. Throughout my final year of high school, I was the organizer of two fashion shows that assisted in raising awareness of teen suicides. Furthermore, I co-chaired a fundraiser fashion show –“Big City Life” – this previous summer. Lastly, I was enrolled in a six-month co-op placement that involved experience with visual merchandising and attending buying meetings. Outside of my studies, I am currently employed at La Senza where I was promoted to the position of Key Holder/Shift Runner (CSL) – a position which has provided me with a wealth of management experience. My current and past employment has provided me enjoyment in assisting consumers and learning to build team cohesion while striving to provide overall satisfaction to everyone involved. My goal at this time is to utilize the knowledge, skills, and values that I have gained during my studies and successfully expand on them to include more valuable hands-on experience providing the delivery of these skills and information to others.Thank you for the time spent reviewing my resume.
