I am passionate about serving our global community and transforming the future of healthcare by contributing to innovative biomedical solutions that address critical challenges. I earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Science. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I acquired a robust foundation in bioengineering principles and material sciences, honing skills in product design, prototyping, and testing. As a part of a capstone project, my team and I developed a virtual-reality based DICOM viewer for clinical education and surgical planning. My various research experiences in human-centered design and social innovation emphasized the importance of developing imaginative and thorough solutions to improve healthcare outcomes. I am excited to apply my skills and knowledge base to extended reality visualization in a manner that prioritizes patient engagement and advances surgical practices.
