Florida Wine Academy® is the leading provider of wine, spirits, and sake education in Florida. As Director of Wine Education I teach courses, masterclasses, and WSET and French Wine Scholar certifications in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I am also in charge of training and developing our team of educators. I am responsible for training staff in restaurants and hotels, for tutoring individuals towards their wine certifications and for offering consulting services to companies. One of my important duties is to work alongside national and international wine organizations to host wine trade events in Florida. I am very involved in implementing business strategies for the company and creating new events and products, such as Miami Champagne Week, a week dedicated to educating guests on champagne, and VinoSummit, the first wine conference in the South East United States. In addition, I personally select and purchase wines & spirits for all classes and courses.

VinoSummit, presented by Florida Wine Academy, is the first conference dedicated to wine professionals in the SE United States. This two-day conference, which takes place in the lively city of Miami every March, aims to investigate trends in the wine industry and explore important regions and grapes.As co-founder, I am responsible for organizing the speakers and panelists, selecting wines, organizing vendors and handling the marketing.

Champagne Day is celebrated on the 3rd Friday every October in different cities across the world. The day was created by the Champagne Committee, to promote this very special French sparkling wine. In Miami, we have decided to take the idea to the next Level and celebrate champagne during an entire week, with multiple events with different venues.As the co-founder, I host and organize all the events during Miami Champagne Week. Dates for 2020: October 12th to October 16th.
