Alessandro P. Giorgetti was born on August 7, 1959 in Milan, where he lives with his wife and two kids.He graduated in Private International Law at the State University of Milan and then he studied comparative commercial law at Robinson College of Cambridge in England.He is enrolled in the Bar Association of Milan since 1988 and he is also enrolled in the Special Bar for the Superiors and Constitutional Courts.He worked at Glanvill Entoven Ltd, a traditional broking house at Lloyd’s, where he acquired a deep knowledge of the English insurance market and its particular regulations.He has a wide knowledge in insurance and reinsurance problems . Mr. Giorgetti speaks English and French and he is an active member of the International Bar Association, D.R.I. ­ Defence Research Institute, DRI Europe of which he chair the Italian Chapter, of the International Association of Defence Counsels of which he has been the International Vice President. Since 1996 he is listed in the “Guide to the World’s Leading Insurance and Reinsurance Lawyers” published by Euro money and from 2000 also into the “International Professional Who’s Who”, and recently into the "Who’s Who Of Insurance Lawyers".Mr. Alessandro Giorgetti has written various articles about insurance and he is author of chapters on Italy on several books. In 1994 and he translated into Italian and updated the book “Personal Injury Awards in EU and EFTA Countries “Il risarcimento dei danni alla persona nei paesi dell’Unione Europea e dell’EFTA” (IFA-Pubbliass, Milan 1997) and in april 2008 he published the monography Il contenzioso di massa in Italia, in Europa e nel Mondo - Profili di comparazione in tema di Class Action ed azioni di gruppo, Giuffrè 2008.Mr. Giorgetti is often speaker in national and/or international conventions about insurance and liability market.Specialties: Fine Arts and J.B.P.
