A Collaborative partnership of organizations from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors committed to increasing access to housing choices, good jobs, quality schools and essential services via public transit within marginalized communities.I served as a consultant to Collaborative Table staff that provided workforce development opportunities to marginalized community members. • Provided guidance and support to the Collaborative Table’s workforce program development staff and board in the areas of recruitment, selection, retention, appreciation, onboarding/orientation, through a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.• Consulted with team leaders to understand DEI training and development needs across their functional groups and presented recommendations to satisfy those needs.• Developed and built effective relationships with members of the Collaborative Table and the community to have influence and impact on the recruiting and hiring process.

Primary HR and Operations administrator for 4 Region Statewide Training Services Unit. • Partnered with State HR team and department hiring managers to discern workforce needs, define job parameters, and outline desired qualifications. • Sourced, screened, interviewed, and selected best-option candidates for skilled trainer and management level positions.• Responsible for department orientation, onboarding and offboarding.• Drove the full cycle of the administration of employee procedure training workshops for new hires, to include, venue scheduling, attendee registration, material preparation, on-sight logistics, attendee learning assessment and tracking of attendee training records. • Provided procedure update training to employees statewide via LMS, webinar and onsite workshops. Assessed and tracked 90/180 information retention for current employees and new hires. • Provided professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process.

Spark the Change Colorado is a nonprofit volunteer capacity-building organization that provides in-depth training to help properly channel volunteer passion into mission-critical objectives and achieve greater community impact through more engaged volunteers.In this role I created and led the organization’s first diversity and inclusion board development programming designed to meet the evolving DEI needs of nonprofit Boards of Directors.• Developed and delivered board development and board leadership instruction with high level of proficiency. Program delivery timely and within budget.• Successfully created, launched, and managed DARE to LEAD; a signature program of educational and referral activities designed to recruit, train, and engage leaders of color in nonprofit board service. 200 individuals and 75 nonprofit organizations participated in these activities.• Merged technology with inclusive board governance curriculum to create the Board Leadership Connection; a comprehensive volunteer board governance training program that included an online recruitment and social networking system.• Designed and executed the Board Access and Empowerment Summit, a networking event connecting leaders of color with nonprofit agencies. 170 individuals and 40 nonprofit organizations participated: exceeding project expectations and attendance goals by 30 percent.• Accountable to Executive Leadership and Board of Directors.
