Hello! I’m Alejandra Rios, an M.A. Counselor Education student on the Clinical Mental Health Counseling track at the University of Central Florida. My goal as an aspiring mental health counselor is to provide ethical mental health services and increase accessibility to psychotherapy for marginalized groups. I intend to obtain my licensure in mental health counseling following the completion of my Master’s degree, and I hope to eventually open a practice of my own. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), my goal will be to empower my clients to seek self-improvement and reclaim their identity while learning the essential tools to heal their holistic well-being.
