Optimize production and logistics, by analyzing cost effective scenarios, some examples of this would include Syngas balance at BCP to ensure production of higher value products at BCP, shifting production from EU and US to save on freight, Realignment of terminals to Business line strategies. Optimize inventory levels for all US products by building and updating supply chain network models in Optiant software to determine safety stock levels as well as global inventory targets. Incorporate optimization modeling results and inventory targets into plan during the S&OP process. Implement strategies to ensure inventory targets meet working capital targets, among others, these would include, release more sales volume to spot markets when soft demand is seen within the region, constrain demand if any interruption with production is recognized, production adjustment in campaign units to meet demand. Negotiates inter region finished goods exchanges with co-producers to cover plant outages and to reduce logistics costs. Responsible for distribution planning including analysis and optimization of logistics costs balanced with customer needs, determines lead times for resupply, tank and vessel capacity needs for plants, major import-export points and distribution lanes. -
