-Make weekly visits to local Dept. of Rehab. Offices to meet with clients in job search.-Communicate with DOR counselors, services coordinators regarding referrals, intakes and any client concerns.-Develops monthly progress reports submitted to DOR -Coordinate receipt of billing/ authorizations.-Coordinate with employers to create internship opportunities -Provide assessment of individual client’s employment skills and vocational interests, and helps to develop their short- and long-term vocational goals and identify work place barriers.-Assess and report individual client progress in accordance with their Individual Work Plan. -Assists with the intake process of the client by assessing the individual’s strengths, weaknesses, skills and abilities.-Form partnerships between employers in the community, the Department of Rehabilitation, Regional Center, the client and IRL to assure successful paid employment for individuals with disabilities. -Develops and carries out job search activities for and with consumers which include, but are not limited to; running a job club, meeting with consumers individually, assisting with applications, and accompanying individuals on job interview.-Maintains professional certification and keeps up on the latest regulation and laws pertaining to this position.-Establishes strong community ties and working relationships with employers.-Actively participates in community networking groups; i.e., local chambers of commerce and community service organizations.-Participates in Center activities and meetings designed to facilitate support, communication, and integration.

-Provide on and off-site coaching, counseling, and support to individuals with developmental and/or learning disabilities during the initial months of their employment, or to groups of individuals throughout their employment, in accordance with employer expectations and case manager recommendations.

-Designed and led onboarding program for new hires, ensuring employees successfully and comfortably integrated into the workplace-Met bi-weekly with hiring managers to keep track of and document new employees’ job progress and productivity goals to resolve issues, avoid turnover, and support job retention-Created recruitment and selection policy following organizational culture guidelines and job descriptions, in order to hire the best possible candidates for the organization-Spearheaded project to develop HR policies and improve company culture and structure
