As a physical therapist, I will deliver patient-centered care that will promote the physical and emotional well-being of my patients. This entails that I will provide interventions that are engaging and salient for my patients to keep them motivated and focused on their goals. I will use my creativity, clinical based knowledge, and evidenced based practice to meet the needs of each patient, be a mentor in their rehabilitation process, and collaborate with other health professionals to deliver exceptional care. My professional goals are to practice in an outpatient/inpatient pediatric rehab setting within three months of obtaining my physical therapy licensure to develop my clinical skill set by practicing with a pediatric population. In three years, I will become a Pediatric Certified Specialist to apply this knowledge to better cater to my patients.
