A neuroscientist with great interest in scientific dissemination and the development of educational initiatives that allow the democratization of knowledge.Although my scientific career has focused on the study of therapeutic alternatives for the treatment of Parkinson's disease in preclinical models, my interest in contributing to fields such as science education and the visibility of women in STEM areas (acronym in English for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) has led me to fill various roles.At the University level, I have worked as a teacher in various courses (Biochemistry, Developmental Biology), and I have participated in the training of undergraduate students (supervision and co-tutoring of thesis). In turn, I have led the organization of various scientific dissemination events (workshops, talks, seminars, consultancies) aimed at students, teachers, and the general public. In my role as Director and co-founder of Fundación Ciencia Impacta, I have contributed to the development of various educational initiatives (based on the inquiry methodology) that aim to bring knowledge about neuroscience to the classroom. Additionally, I have led the training of multidisciplinary teams, including alliances with other institutions, to promote initiatives that promote the interest and participation of girls and young people in STEM careers.
