With the sole objective of growing the company, my first goal in direct collaboration with the CEO & CFO, was to optimize Bw's own value proposition, implementing a new control system & KPI's within the Growth department, optimizing the structure by developing a profitability policy in project management, promoting a cultural transformation that identifies growth as a common responsibility across all departments. While implementing this transformation in the business management model, I designed and executed an expansion plan whose results increased turnover in Q1 2020 vs. Q1 2019. With the arrival of the pandemic, we had to restructure and implement a contingency plan, which further precipitated the opening of international markets. As results: we recovered and increased the business in Madrid, leading the new office in Velázquez, generated sustained growth by opening a new international market (Latam) and four new new regional areas, in addition, we managed to diversify the product portfolio. Despite the harshness of the pandemic, it is worth noting that we promoted a culture that put all the focus on people: suppliers, customers and internal teams. It was a great period of learning and growth, both professionally and personally.
