•Analyze the quality and feasibility of new projects during the development process to ensure customer requirements can be met before production.•Provide quality related feedback during development phase and new product introduction process to ensure launch meets customer quality requirements and launch timing.•Actively involved with Product Development, Engineering, Production and Quality to collect data and identify potential improvements or potential issues that need to be addressed before first productions. •Provide input and recommendations for quality improvements initiatives. •Review and approve routing documents (fill and assembly specifications) to ensure internal and customer quality requirements are met.•Determine fill weights/provide fill weight verification for new products.•Provide technical support to Product Development, Engineering, Production and Quality teams during first production runs. •Assist in development of action plans for continuous improvement of new product integrations.

•Oversee and evaluate the Quality Assurance activities on the packaging lines.•Support QC Inspectors and QA Manager as needed.•Responsible for monitoring weight control of finished products.•Assist with new hire training and support.•Review QC Line paperwork for completeness and accuracy and follow up on outages.•Check and coordinate customer samples.•Monitor and maintain equipment necessary for QC inspection, including scales, torque meters, thermometers, and vacuum ovens.

•Perform line set-up procedure and complete required paperwork.•Verify all components to be used against Bill of Materials (BOM).•Issues product code(s), fill weights, perform and document in-process inspections according to required frequency.•Provide visual line standards prior to line start-up.•Audit for finished product attributes. •Collect all required samples for microbiological testing, chemistry lab, retention and customer.•Responsible for enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on the production floor.
