Hired to develop and standup digital content and online engagement strategy for a grant funded program for a provider and community health center audience. Successfully built and launched a self-service platform that attracted over 4,000 users in 2023, with 72% arriving through organic search. Led program-wide communications strategy, collaborating with subject matter experts to develop and execute online resources, webinars, and conference presentations. Responsible for organization-wide email communications and social media marketing, as well as website content for multiple program areas.Conceived and executed a SEO strategy that achieved top ranks in Google for most popular search terms related to encounter data, such as “What is the difference between claims and encounter data?” Experienced in website design and optimization, partnering with Director of Marketing and website developer to deliver engaging yet streamlined content for busy healthcare providers.

Created and executed lesson plans in Portuguese for 60 students in a farming community in NE Brazil.Incorporated computer skill acquisition into English and Arts curriculum, resulting in higher student satisfaction and increased local capacity to support future community development initiatives.

I provided hands-on support to a community-based coalition of indigenous, Afro-Brazilian, and family farming cooperatives with a mission of building community resilience through agro-ecology. While living and teaching in a rural farming community, I learned directly from diverse partners about their experience, goals, and strategies for community development. My activities included grant writing, communications (in Portuguese and English); serving as a liaison between indigenous communities, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations; planning and facilitating meetings and large multi-day events; accompanying heritage seed bank and women's empowerment programs; and supporting multiple cultural centers with hands-on workshops and social media support. I successfully obtained several grants, including a large grant to promote entrepreneurship among women and young adults through micro-lending, and when I left, our first client had successfully created a business selling natural products and was well on her way to repaying her loan. I also supported the successful implementation of a farmer-led organization to improve accessibility to receiving recognition as an organic production as well as and establishing a direct-to-consumer regional market. I served on the organization's inaugural board of directors and played a role in helping the organization receive authorization from the Ministry of Agriculture.

As Project Coordinator for Catalyst for Payment Reform, I handled a wide variety of tasks, from scheduling meetings for the Executive Director, processing of expense reports, assisting with various research projects as assigned including literature reviews and market analysis, event coordination, lead data entry as needed, project management. I managed the organization’s transition into a new IT system, maintained the organization’s calendar, and provided general problem-solving as needed.

As a level one Analyst at ANSIRH, a division of UCSF's OBGYN department, I spearheaded development of an internal database cataloging over 700 health care providers in the United States. I expanded the scope of the database to include cost information and used the Google Fusion App to map the providers. I also assisted the Project Coordinator in filing documents for a research study.

I taught English bi-weekly to students at a community center of an under served neighborhood in the Salvador Area. The class size ranged from 6-14 students from the ages of 5 to over 18 years old. I created engaging worksheets to use in my lessons. I coordinated the teaching schedule between myself and 3 other volunteer teachers.

Created a resource binder of STEM career paths for the community college students participating in the Rising Sun Energy Center internship program. Assisted in managing the participant database to increase alumni participation at the Center and maintain records for grant writing purposes.

Organized and analyzed data from almost 1000 interviews

Interviewed 16 young adults to assess importance of community engagement during high school in increasing access to post-secondary educational resources for undocumented and economically marginalized youth. Updated alumni database of San Francisco nonprofit to recruit survey participants. Completed bivariate analysis of survey data and coded 50+ interviews.

Planned and created educational and inclusive community events, like Food Preservation Workshop and Neighborhood Fruit Tree Harvest with 100+ participants. Co-managed garden, built relationships with neighbors and community partners.
