Responsible for the Procurement Strategies in Mexico, started with the construction of the terminal of Lazaro Cardenas, manage projects of Engineering, Procurement and construction, "EPC" the project was made really in June 2018 in compliance with the government concession. After to conclude all the construction and start to operate my responsibilities was increased taken the leadership of all the categories managers for Latin America, experts in facility management, spare parts, tires, lubs, security, packing, carton, X border, transportation, these negotiations benefit all the terminals in LAM (10 Terminals and 9 depots). Through different tools as a Coupa, Ariba and with the adequate strategy of purchasing, Sourcing and regional negotiationsIn 2019 , a new terminal was incorporated under my scope as a Cluster Procurement Manager with responsibilities in Guatemala, Colombia, Yucatan and Lazaro, I was on charge to guarantee all the procurement and supply chain for the goods and services that these terminals need. including under my umbrella the manager of the warehouse of spare parts as part us the supply chain. Including packaging material and raw materials for specific customers. Food industry, retails, tires, logistics.Until December 2022 I worked as Head of Procurement at LZC, with a teamwork of 10 people and 2 more from Tangier, Morocco. I was a member of SLT (Senior leader team). Through my work team we manage all the contracting processes and acquisitions of goods and services. including civil works, warehouses, acquisition of major equipment as well as the acquisition of all the spare parts so that the cranes function properly. the purchase distribution is 60% international and 40% national. not including civil works. I was responsible to conclude the civil works in the terminal in Lazaro Cardenas, with an spend of 1busd.
