My mission is simple: to show the world that Central America can do big things.I’m a tech entrepreneur, experiential marketer, and serial movement builder with a passion for delivering unforgettable products and experiences that make life better. In 2016 I co-founded and led hugo, Central America’s first and only superapp. In five years, hugo grew to a team of 700+ young people and thousands of drivers and businesses that brought the region’s delivery economy to life. Our vision was to pave the way for the digital revolution in Central America, and I think our team did just that. At the end of 2022, we sold our delivery business to global industry leader Delivery Hero, making it one of the biggest tech exits in Central American history. Since then, many of hugo’s team members have gone on to found new startups throughout the region… giving birth to the “hugo mafia”. Currently, my work is about unleashing the economic potential of the region through n1co, a Salvadoran fintech company, and through Panorama, Central America’s first venture fund by and for Central Americans. I believe that Central America can be home to some of the most cutting edge technology in the world, and I'm inspired by the opportunity to make that possible.
