Manufacturing Engineer
CurrentJob Responsibilities:Conventional Engineering Assignments:Select and recommend fixtures.Create assembly procedures.Write change orders to support assembly.Collaboration with Department Supervisors/Managers:Address capacity issues.Drive process improvements.Optimize tooling.Technical Oversight:Maintain complete technical oversight of day-to-day operations.Corrective Actions Process:Lead or participate in the Corrective Actions Process.Provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.Bill of Operations and Materials:Update and maintain Bill of Operations and/or Materials as required by Engineering changes and continuous improvement activities.Design Engineering Interface:Work closely with Design Engineering on manufacturability-related issues.Participate in Integrated Product Development teams as needed.Standard Work Procedures:Establish and monitor standard work procedures within the manufacturing assembly line.Creative Manufacturing Solutions:Innovate and establish creative manufacturing solutions.
