CFD engineer interested to improve process or products for a widely range of industries. - Food industry: cleaning process/product design. - Building industry: thermal comfort design and optimization (HVAC). - Energy industry: fluid-gas separation process. - River management: wave propagation by means of the SPH method. - Sewer management: sewer overflows and suspended sediment transport.

I worked on experimental and numerical methods for suspended sediment transport within sewer overflows.I performed CFD simulations of flow and sediment transport within real scale sewer overflows. These simulations allow to calculate the overflow rate using only non-intrusive water level sensors. Also, I have done physical model test of flow and sediment transport for lateral weirs to validate numerical models (CFD).

I improved the inlet flowrate distribution of real scale lamellar settler (900 m3) by means of 3D numerical simulations (CFD).

I had the chance to numerically simulate the 3D hydraulic behavior of a real scale lamellar settler of the water treatment plant of Valence (France). These simulations allowed to propose geometrical modifications in order to improve the settling processus.I coordinated the construction and installation of a custom-made sediment trap. This device was installed at the settling pond's inlet in order to collect real incoming pollution on wet weather conditions.

I designed a experimental protocol for measuring turbidity and conductivity on a real scale lamellar settler facility. Also, I performed a financial impact assessment based on hydraulic simulations (1D - 2D) of the urban catchment of Valence city. This study allowed to define the future operation mode of the sewer system of Valence city.
