Led and managed the team responsible for improving air quality in London, including developing and implementing the air quality aspects of the London Environment StrategyOversaw the development and implementation of large and complex air quality programs, including the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), and its expansion London-wide in August 2023, Breathe London, and the Mayor's £30m Air Quality Fund.

• Developed the implementation plan for the Responsible Procurement policy in the GLA (and the governance around it)• Supported the delivery of the London Sustainable Development Commission’s Work Plan, leading on two of its key workstrands: Quality of Life Indicators and Sustainable Development Goals / Young Londoners• Managed the workstream supporting the GLA Group (Transport for London, Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade) deliver on the Strategy's leading by example chapter, this included mapping Business Areas Sustainability Reporting, progressing actions within Strategy and identifying gaps and key asks

• Helped deliver a variety of policy research projects for the European Commission, the UK Government, UK agencies and other clients, including undertaking literature reviews, case studies, the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. • Research areas: environmental policy, consumer protection, intersections of health and environment, trade and the environment, renewable energy, and comparative studies of social responses to environmental challenges.• Wrote/Edited short reports on particular aspects of European and Member State policies.• Assisted the management of projects and framework contracts as day-to-day operations officer.• Coordinated the organisation’s report and tender/grant production. This includes, but is not limited to: o Agreeing a schedule of work for each required proposal, tender or report; o Working independently to ensure every requirement is met to exacting standards; o Being front-office point of contact with the client and with partners.

• Helped plan, develop and submit the funding proposal for the Urban Health Initiative, a five-year WHO-led multi-organization project under the UN's Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) aiming to help cities in developing countries realize reductions of air pollution and Short-Lived Climate Pollutants while maximizing health and economic benefits. The proposal was approved.• Contributed to a report for policy-makers on Reducing Global Health Risks through Mitigation of Short-Lived Climate Pollutants. I researched and drafted the chapter that the report dedicated to cities.• Created website content about urban sustainable strategies in an accessible format for local decision-makers. I researched and formatted materials (web/print) from WHO's Health in the Green Economy.• Participated in the organization and coordination of the WHO’s First Global Conference onHealth and Climate.• Organized internal events, including keynote speakers and lunch-time seminars.

• Researched and drafted Health Report Cards. This involved gathering information about social and environmental determinants of health in New York City, paying special attention to how pollution and negative health outcomes are distributed unevenly in certain parts of the city.• Updated and improved the organization’s databases (Excel spreadsheets) with three reports describing the physical environment, the socio-demographic and economic characteristics of the population, and the health statistics for each of the four community districts that comprise Northern Manhattan• Participated in the development of their Membership Program (recruiting new members, preparing and giving presentations to potential members, and organizing open discussions with local residents.• Represented the organization in several meetings of the NYC Green Group/NYC League of Conservation Voters.
