Working primarily as project manager for the Permanent Abandonment activity of a major operator in the GoM. Leading the Subsurface and Wells team while also involved in doing engineering work.Providing consulting to major operator in Norway on their deep water activity and Brown fields (low cost reservoir access).Developing of newcomers in support of their engineering capabilities.

Led the digital enabled organization of 30+ engineering and data professionals supporting GoM and Trinidad Deepwater operations remotely from central analytics center focused on performance and process safety barriers. Developed detailed project plans to delivered transformational goals for the year.• Supported technical and operational delivery of 27 wells (drilling, completions, Interventions, abandonments) with capital of ~$1.5B annually.• Created a new approach to move on-board human controlled operations to onshore remote operation center during pandemic. This integrated initiative led to the safely continuation of offshore operations reducing cost (+$15 M) and most importantly, lowering service and bp personnel health exposure from travelling offshore.• Progressed the transition to a new safety critical software platform used to conduct remote center primary tasks.• Assigned/Delegated duties or work schedules to employees, involved in staffing decisions.

Managed all drilling engineering planning and execution over four production hubs (Thunder Horse, Atlantis, Mad Dog, Nakika) and BPs exploration program; program delivered with rig fleet of semisubmersibles, drill ships and spar. Managed a budget of ~$2B annually with a team of engineering leaders, +40 engineers and specialist.• Increased in 70% the number of wells delivered in first quartile compare with industry benchmarks. Achieved project capital reductions more than +$400MM on several projects including Mad Dog phase II and delivered 14% improvements on cost below plan on drilling programs.• Introduced new technologies that improved capital efficiencies and safety i.e., MPD (managed pressure drilling), horizontal drilling, drilling with casing, resulting in reduction of operation downtime, increased efficiencies, and production.• Pioneered new Agile concept to well planning process that resulted in avoidance of offshore rigs been placed in stand by (costly ~$5 MM/day non productive time).•Supported development of 40+ engineering team members during challenging business environment.• Led materials inventory reduction initiative. Senior Drilling Engineer HPHT, 2005 – 2007Planned and executed drilling, workovers, and completions in the deepest HPHT environments in the US onshore (Tuscaloosa asset). Challenging wells ranging the 23,000 ft with pressures over 19,000psi and 420 deg F of temperature. Brough concepts to BP of MPD which then was implemented across fleet.
