As Design Analytics Lead I am conducting design analytics, partnering with clinical trial experts to develop and deliver insights based on those analytics, drafting reports and structured outputs to support protocol assessments and trial design decision-making.A specialist in internal medicine, I have diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry in fields ranging from clinical research, to pharmacovigilance, quality and regulatory affairs. Since 2006, I have worked in Clinical Research industry as a Clinical Research Associate, Quality and Compliance Analyst, Regulatory Affairs Manager, Pharmacovigilance Manager and Design Analytics Lead. I have also experience overseeing Colombian and Peruvian Clinical Trial Applications, reviewing local regulations and industry standards and performing impact assessments of final new/revised laws and regulations and industry standards. As a clinician, I have worked in a number of hospitals in Colombia with emergency departments, treating walk-in patients. I also worked in geriatrics as part of a multidisciplinary team who assisted frail elderly patients and I am currently a member of an Independent Ethics Committee on Clinical Research.
