Leader of multidisciplinary teams to achieve aggressive goals in complex projects, either in Chile or abroad.Currently working at Spence Copper Mine, Technology Delivery team, as a specialized contractor (Vantaz), following up after the completion of the Spence Growth Option (SGO) Project (construction of a Copper Concentrator Plant for Spence/BHP) Previously I led a SAP implementation project for 7 companies in the Tehmcorp Group, from mid-2016 to October 2018. In addition, I had responsibilities as Head of Engineering, Research and Development for CAINSA until the end of 2017. CAINSA is one of the leading companies specialized in the development of technology and solutions for abrasion, corrosion, and impact in the mining industry. From 2014 to 2015 I was assigned to different on-site leadership roles in the Construction and Startup teams of Bechtel for the USD4B billion OGP1 EPC project for BHPB Billiton, where Bechtel was the prime contractor.The OGP1 project is the world largest copper concentrator plant, with a design capacity of 152,000 tons per day, located in the north of Chile. Total scope of work for the project is around 20 million man-hours, of which I had to lead the construction of one area with a scope of 750,000 hours.
