Responsible for cultivating a culture of safety, respect, and dignity among a team of up to 50 members by modeling desired behaviours and actions that drove operational performance. Directed operational coordination between above and below wing team members responsible for the safe and punctual departure/arrival of up to 28 flights per week. Also preformed safety investigations, audits and implemented corrective action plans to eliminate or reduce risks. Liaise between union and company on matters relate to the collective bargaining agreement including progressive diclplinary actions. Skilled at workforce planning that is financially responsible in near and long term scenarios ensuring considerations for projected absenteeism, turnover or other shortage scenarios.

Supported the interviewing, recruitment and training of up to 170 team members to maintain adequate staffing levels during a time of significant staff shortages and turnover. Responsible for recurrent training of existing ramp team members on the safe operations of aviation and ground service equipment procedures and operating standards. Conducted safety audits three times per week to observe team member adherence to procedures, identify training gaps and introduce corrective measures to eliminate risks. Introduced ramp process improvements, such as new chalking procedures that improved operational performance while strengthening a culture of safety. Created an environment that was collaborative, safe, and fun through staff recognition moments that highlighted positive behaviours.
