For five years as a species analyst at Provita ONG, my principal duty was to help in different biodiversity research projects. I helped generate key information for the conservation of Venezuela's biodiversity. My research and learning skills were a great asset for the projects, and also being tech-savvy. Additionally, it further developed my skills in standardizing, storing, cleaning, analyzing, and loading large data sets. My English communication skills, teamwork, and goal orientation were put to the test.-In the projects "Evaluation of Endemic Trees of Venezuela" and "Evaluation of Non-Endemic Trees of Venezuela", in their different phases, I had to investigate the taxonomy, distribution, threats, and conservation status of hundreds of trees for which we evaluated its extinction risk. These evaluations are published in the IUCN Red List of Species and are essential input for their conservation plans.-Both in the previous projects, as in the project "Capacity building to strengthen the mobilization of data on biodiversity in Venezuela", I processed large data sets with the help of various technological tools.-I presented the results of the projects in which they participated to professionals in the area at expert meetings such as the Venezuelan Congress of Ecology and the 58th Annual Meeting of the ATBC in Cartagena, Colombia.-I was mainly responsible for standardizing six data sets for free access in GBIF.-I collaborate on hundreds of publications on social networks and in the design of the content, materials, and facilitation of numerous courses, workshops, and forums such as the "Introduction to the Mobilization of Primary Biodiversity Data" workshop and the forum "Needs and Opportunities of Mobilization of Open Data on Biodiversity in Venezuela".
