I lead a team, which is responsible for covering the demand for torque converters, stocking inventories and controlling the supply chain of different suppliers. The customers we handle are Ford, Mazda, GM and Honda.The KPI's we control are:Delivery compliance.Inventory levels and costs.Line stoppages.Development and fulfillment of new projects.Fulfillment of production plans. The MRP we use is SAP EP1 and SAP APO. Which is a software for control and administration of production plans and control of inventory levels. Through these tools we can analyze the customer forecast and see what inventory levels would be optimal we should have in plant.These analysis tools help us to have an efficient administration of the management of the plant resources, such as raw material, activation and use of production shifts, inventory management and raw material requirements.
