To face the challenges of Argentina’s giant shale reservoir, Vaca Muerta, there were no service companies in the local market available of increasing Pan American Energy drilling capability. Then Pan American Energy decided the purchase and commissioning of five brand new automatic land drilling rigs, which would capable of meeting the target. Project Manager responsible to develop the project: equipment specifications, operating personnel incorporation, commissioning plan, O&M contract and maintenance & integrity programs.

Sr. Project Leader Offshore

•Field Lab. ATG- Corralillo -Chicontepec, PEMEX - Baker Hughes IO-MEXICO. Sr. Project Manager, Full Field Development Project including: Geology and Reservoir study, Drilling planning for field development plan, Completion, work-over and operation & maintenance for 143 existing wells Oil production: 10,000bopd/10 MMscfd. Development for operations, drilling& Completions for 43 new wells and Work-Over for 24 existing wells during 2010.

• Team Leader, for Lankahuasa Offshore, Gulf of Mexico, PEMEX –Halliburton FEL and Engineering for Construction two Platforms en LK-B, LK-C and Kosni. Drilling eleven wells, 9 horizontal and two slants. Pipeline Construction for 20 km x 12 in.• Team Leader to develop a business case in Wahoo Reservoir (Ultra-Deep water, Pre-salt) Campos Basin, Offshore Brazil for Anadarko Petroleum. It neighbors to Jubarte field in Bacia do Campos, High temperature / High Pressure, Hard shale stringers, and drilling a salt dome. The scope of work is to perform a Reservoir-Facilities-Business study of the Wahoo discovery to determine the most critical parameters for supporting field development decision-making.• Team leader Responsible for the project’s facilities design for off shore and subsea facilities in PDVSA- Mariscal Sucre Project, Venezuela, four fields: Patao, Dragon, Mejillones, and Rio Caribe. 15 TCF. Estimated investment of two Billion dollars, scheduled to develop in the next three years. Including two fix platform and three subsea arrangements.

Petrobras SA ( Ecuador, USA and Brazil)• Project Manager for Block 31, including two phases of conceptual engineering and FEL (Front End Loading Engendering) and the facilities’ construction.• Leader for Peer Assistant and Peer Review, during 2003 to 2006, participated as an internal consultant (in some as peer’s consultant and others as referent’s deputy) in more than tree large Petrobras’ off shore deep water projects in Brazil and USA GOM. This is a usual practice in Petrobras for large projects (usually for projects with more than 1.5 billion US$ investments) to assure these projects comply with the best practices available.• Member for the due diligence and data Rooms, looking for partners to Block 31 (closed contract with Teikoku in March 2005).

• Field Superintendent for Production and Maintenance.• In charge of the drilling operation for La Ventana Field with two campaigns in 1994 and 1996, drilling more than 24 wells, including three directional drilling and four exploration wells.• Leader for Mechanical integrity for the field Vacas Muertas, Mendoza Argentina with high CO2 and high SH2.• Leader for Pipeline Integrity and Corrosion assistant for La Ventana and Vizcacheras fields, more than 500 km pipeline, with world-class standards and off leak detections systems. Complying with all Shell’s standards (partner in the field). In Charge of flow assurance for Vizcacheras field (Mendoza), to produce heavy and viscous oil.• Team Leader Facilities in charge of the Construction for gathering systems for Meseta Espinoza block and Construction Manager for Battery #127.• Supervisor for Drilling, Completion, and Well Services in Meseta Espinoza, Argentina.
