Restaurant Manager turned Construction Worker, turned Software Developer.I've had a wide range of experience, from turning a failing restaurant into a multi million dollar a year operation, to leading a dozen men through 20 hour shifts pouring concrete during the hottest months of the year. I've always had an eye for detail and a will to power through any problem that's been thrown at me. I don't quit despite how insurmountable the challenge may seem. I love to be challenged and to push myself to achieve better results every time. I love to work in, and foster a positive environment where my teammates feel empowered and cared for. Where we all talk about our goals and help each other accomplish them. There's no better feeling than promoting someone from crew member to Assistant manager or from apprentice through Journeyman. Getting to be a part of my team's growth really provides unmatched satisfaction. I've worked as an SDET at GE Aerospace through Ingage Partners as a consultant. I helped develop automated end-to-end testing through tools like NightWatch and Playwright, and automated API testing using Mocha/Chai libraries. I also developed a big picture testing plan for our team, incorporating a shift-left testing mentality, and testing at almost every stage in our CI/CD pipeline. October 2023 I moved to a full-stack developer role. Starting with back end I've worked primarily with API development in Java and AWS(S3, code pipeline, codedeploy, lambda), interacting with both SQL and non SQL databases.
