As part of the Legal, Tax and Statutory team, I am the leader for Latin America region in transfer pricing. I am in charge of reviewing that the Latin American countries comply with the “arm’s length” principle in transfer pricing. I am responsible of reviewing the country’s operating P&L and make sure each of the countries comply with the local transfer pricing regulations. I also act as a consultant to make changes in the discount rates for buying and selling intercompany goods. We review the operating results of the countries monthly and adjust the discounts accordingly to make sure the country complies with the transfer pricing regulations.

Responsible of the entire financial database for the business. In charge of producing the entire P&L and divide it into segments, whether by service lines or by regions. Accountable of updating and troubleshooting the database. I also implemented automatizations to improve the user experience and enhance the process overall. Responsible of producing the headcount reports for the business.

In charge of yearly and monthly budgeting and forecasting for a group of managers and their groups. My responsibilities included making the annual expense budget and adjusting the monthly forecast if necessary. I was also responsible for maintaining and updating the financial database for the business. I was in charge of producing the daily P&L reports for the business. My activities for month end close included also: updating the reports, making some manual journal entries, and making sure the numbers were accurate.

I was in charge of producing the transfer pricing report that we handed to the different companies. The report was divided into several different parts, including a description of the company and the study itself. I was in charge of producing and reviewing that information. In other activities, I was in charge of maintaining the S&P databases we used as well as conducting advanced searches for our analysis. I was also in charge of automating the search procedures.
