Erasmus+ trainee at Gaia EducationGaia Education is an NGO based in Belgium and Scotland whose main focuses are sustainability, multiculturalism and education.The internship lasted approximately three months, with one period taking place in Brussels and the other remotely from Portugal. The work I did was mainly related to technology and communication, as I was in charge of publishing content on the organization's social networks and also following its digital activity. In addition, I prepared and carried out interviews with the public in order to understand the general public perception of issues such as sustainability and education.This internship allowed me to establish direct contact with those in charge of Gaia Education. On a personal and professional level, I acquired new skills and the information needed to produce content for both websites and social networks, and it was an experience that enhanced my initiative and autonomy while demanding a greater level of responsibility. What's more, as this was my first job abroad, I had the opportunity to communicate in English on a daily basis, putting my knowledge of the foreign language into practice.
