My research interests are related to Earthquake Engineering. During my professional career I have been involved in Deterministic Seismic Hazard Analysis (DSHA), selection of accelerograms (seismic ground motions) for the design of structures, analysis of base-isolated structures, seismic protective systems for nonstructural elements, and experimental tests.
