As a member of the Signal Analysis and Imaging Group, my responsibilities are developing new lines of research and publication of findings in international Journals. My research interests are near-surface imaging (to improve refraction statics solutions) and denoising.

Bolivia

My primary responsibilities as a Project Leader were analyzing the seismic data and designing the appropriate processing sequence. The processing sequence design included building the refraction statics solution, denoising parametrization, velocity analysis, pre-stack time migration, depth velocity model building, pre-stack depth migration, and post-processing. I was responsible for the communication Client-Contractor, and the presentation of the final results to the Client. I was in charge of preparing the Technical Proposals for Public Biddings, helping the company get awarded more than six projects in 7 years.

Santa Cruz De La Sierra

As a Processing Analyst, my responsibilities were the execution of the Seismic Processing Sequence under the supervision of the Project Leader. The specific responsibilities included tape reading, raw data loading and QC, first break picking, application of refraction statics, denoising, velocity picking, and running Pre-stack time migration workflows.

Caracas

As a Seismic Data Processing Trainee, the critical responsibility was learning the key aspects of Foreland Basin seismic and getting familiar with the conventional processing sequence and the software used in the company.

Puerto La Cruz

In this internship, I had to process a 3D WAZ seismic cube, from raw data to Post-Stack Time Migration, and then perform decimation tests to simulate different acquisition geometries.

Maturín

In this internship, I participated in the design of seismic acquisition and the field operation during the topography and recording phases of the project.
