Here’s the thing about what I do for a living, a lot of people don’t get it.They either think what I do is make pretty graphics (draw a nice picture, combine colors that go well together)Or they think that it’s something that they can get for $5 from Fiverr.That’s OK, those people aren’t my market.The people that I work with understand the intrinsic relation between strategic visual and verbal communication (or ‘good branding’) and ROI.Typically, brands that I support with their brand strategy have these problems:① They don’t have a unique position in the market and therefore are struggling to compete② Their perceived value isn’t high enough so they aren’t charging what they’re worth③ They don’t have a complete picture of WHO their audience is or WHY they are buying their product or service④ They have a loyal following of customers but want to increase loyalty and engagement ⑤ They have a solid brand strategy but need support executing it in the form of a website, ad campaign, etc.⑥ They are looking to expand their business and therefore looking for investmentAs you can see, it’s very different from just “making a pretty logo”.The truth is that first impressions matter, and the way you communicate your value both visually and verbally will determine the likelihood of someone choosing you over your competition.I take pride in pivoting businesses to discover their full potential by putting a spotlight on what makes them truly unique (and back it up with data).By doing so, we are able to reposition brands from the endless chase for clients to a place where they are able to attract the right audiences.My business, Pivot & Pilot, has grown a reputation for helping brands ‘pivot’ and level up their look in Canada & USA over 8 years.
