Financial Controller
CurrentReport to C.F.O. responsible for preparing month-end closings, financial forecasts, and consolidations; providing financial advice to the manufacturing department through the study of financial data; meeting corporate reporting requirements of the division; managing, training, and evaluating accounting personnel; ensuring accuracy of physical inventory; and controlling the flow of raw materials, tools, and other assets in the manufacturing department. In charge in the Cost Accounting implementation systems for the Dominican Republic factory.• Assisting plant management team in establishing financial measures and addressing operational issues, including leading efforts to establish financial metrics as they relate to the strategic vision of the plant.• Preparing reports and projections based on detailed analysis.• Evaluating current capital expenditures and projects, including measuring all projects for financial success and reports on a regular recurring basis.• Reporting actual and plan future business performance with view on full P&L as well as profitability by product, project and customer and operational KPI.• Reporting on plant financial information, including financial statements, forecasts, budgeting, standard costs and the annual business plan.• Provide inputs relative to the development and submission of the Annual Business Plan, including all required analyses and metrics for plant.• Evaluating procedures employed in various departments and functions as to the adequacy for internal control purposes.• Coordinates forecasting and related financial analyses for plant(s)• Overseeing plant financial auditing activities including, monthly inventory process, annual physical inventory, cycle count reporting and managing reconciliations, while taking appropriate steps to ensure future accuracy.
