Leader of the Production, Maintenance, Logistics, EH & S and Continuous Improvement (Lean) areas. I transformed a group of people into a team with 12 direct reports and more than 140 people under my supervision, dedicated to the production of exhaust systems for the main OEM's. Among the main improvements, it stands out a productivity increase of 15 points in 2 years, the reduction from 72 to 41 days of inventory and the implementation of a system of preventive maintenance management.

Responsible for the Autonomous Production Unit in charge of the production of bumpers for multiple OEM customers in a JIT (Just in time) environment. I led activities to increase company productivity through Kaizen groups, reducing the production floor space by 26% and cycle time by 13% among others. I mentored two supervisors and 7 group leaders from the grassroots with the Toyota Problem Solving methodology. Supervised the internalization of the export area with savings of $ 2.5 million per year. In charge of the budget preparation and control of the area. All in a safe and accident-free environment with 44 dependents in various ranges.

Mini plant dedicated to the provision of short and medium distance bus axles and agricultural machinery. Directly responsible for the planning and production management, material planning, inventory and warehouse control, and process engineering sector. Matrix-responsible for quality, sales and accuracy of sector budget. I lead 20 union people, 4 non union professionals, and 8 people reporting indirectly. Conducted the reorganization of the three assembly lines, reducing manpower by 32% and 25% occupied space without affecting customer deliveries. In charge of the product and business relocation (super heavy axles) from South Carolina, USA to Argentina together with the development of local machined casted components. The position reported directly to Dana Argentina President.

Responsible for plant, components and product quality for the driveshaft division. The activities included Dana Quality System management and TS -16949. Lead for the Dana Operating System (DOS).

Accountable for plant and product quality, including the implementation and improvement of DANA quality systems and TS certification. Reduced cost of quality by $90.000/year/shift by eliminating waste from the data gathering process thru out the plant. As a leader I’ve coached 8 members on my team and two of them have already been promoted to higher positions.Organized, lead and coordinate more than 50 Kaizen events with up to 30 participants each achieving a 15% improvement in productivity. In addition I became a “Subject Matter Expert” in various areas such as Standard Work, Pull systems, Problem Solving, and Value Stream Mapping.As a staff member I’m also responsible of plant KPI’s and initiator of actions needed to meet company’s goals.

Responsible for line changes and implementation of new process / pieces of equipment, line balance and OEE improvements over time. Leaded / participated in numerous Kaizen events involving changes in lay-outs, systems controls and process / equipment changes. Deep knowledge of Control Logix PLC's, Atlas Copco Power Focus Tools, Panel Builder and Devicenet networks.

My main responsibilities were to support the plant on PPAP and PSO preparation and approval. Customer and Quality problems support. PFMEA and Control Plans development and updates.

As professor I’m in charge of helping the students in their personal projects development in order to achieve the course level. Students come from many areas of different industries or service companies, providing a wide field of interests and knowledge.

Dedicated to improve the supplier's process, reduce variability, and aid in problem solving (8D and other techniques). Mine main accomplishment was the implementation of all the quality process related to the norms VD, QS 9000, and TS16949 for the recently opened facility in Escobar, Bs. As. Argentina. I also mentored three people under my direct supervision.
