Trained and led a team of 12 associates by hiring, developing and evaluating personnel. Implemented strategies to propel the team to exceed a departmental goal of >98.5% On-Time Service. Handled the Logistics broker onboarding process, signing up +300 providers in the three years. Trained and deployed 12 new hires, including 11 direct reports and 1 fellow supervisor. Designed and implemented communications strategies to enhance reporting and accountability. Managed staff in charge of international compliance, multi-modal shipments, legal issues, operations support and multi-lateral communications.
