I am an academic and consultant specializing in management skills, international studies, cybersecurity, and strategic management.Since 2019 I have been teaching classes on Terrorism in an online Master in English at the University of Salamanca, Spain. From 2021 to 2022 I lectured on Strategic Leadership in the USAWC and I was promoted to the position of Assistant Professor. I have published in academic journals in Chile and abroad on cybersecurity, international studies and presented in seminars on these topics.My studies include a Master's in International Security from Georgetown University, USA, a Master's from the Chilean Army War Academy, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude; the Advance Management Program at the ESE Business School, Chile, an executive course on cybersecurity at the Harvard Kennedy School, and a course on Strategic Innovation at the University of Chile.During my thirty-two years of military career, I commanded a Regiment in the operation to face the COVID pandemic in the city of Antofagasta. Between 2014 and 2018 I worked in the Army's strategic planning department where I was part of the multidisciplinary team that prepared the Army's strategic development plan for the year 2026. In addition, I proposed a restructuring of the institution's force generation process to determine strategic gaps in military capabilities and a model to determine the status of the main units of the Land Force.
