The former aspect includes:• Windows Server and Lotus Domino administration.• Information Security (Security Policy definition enforcement, Personal Data Protection Law compliance, security procedures application and review, FortiGate firewall and UTM management, perimeter antivirus management, etc.).• LAN and VPN management and maintenance (Cisco routers configuration).• Communications.• Application development with Java and LotusScript for internal purposes (sales force management, electronic invoicing, etc.).• Integration with AS400 system.• Corporate web and intranet design.• Final user and salesforce support and training.As Application Specialist in the division of Digital Radiology and Electromedicine I have been in charge of ICT software and hardware related aspects in a wide range of medical equipment, for which I have been trained by manufacturers, mainly in Finland and the U.S.A.:• Dental Digital X ray units (2D and 3D).• Digital Mammography units (including digital stereotactic systems).• Bone Densitometry equipment.• Ultrasound (Windows and Linux embedded systems).• Medical DICOM Printers (UNIX embedded systems).In this area I have done consulting tasks, especially for radiology systems digitalization, medical practices computerization and integration in hospital or radiology information systems (HIS/RIS) using DICOM protocol. I have also trained both company sales force and customer/user in the equipment control and diagnostic software. I have participated in complex installations and given after sales support to the users both in situ and remotely, often acting as an intermediary with the manufacturer.
