Due to the growth of the company, a restructuring of the positions definition took place. The new positions take into account the roles. Venezuela

I was temporarily relocated back to Venezuela in order to lead a new development team (5 developers, including myself) in an important project. The project involved the development of C# and JAVA APIs, web services and tools as part of a new platform for citizens biometric registration and identification.KSA: C#, JAVA, TeamCity, software engineering, API design, Windows desktop applications development, web service technologies, agile development, SCRUM, continuous integration, biometric registration, election technologies, refactoring, testing, leadership, planning, recruitment.

Panamá

I relocated from Venezuela to Panama division due to the opening of a new company headquarters where a selected group of employees, was given the opportunity to move. I worked with the same team and responsibilities but in a new country.I also started (as main developer) an C# SDK for development in one of the main citizens registration equipment.KSA: C#, SQL, software engineering, API design, Windows desktop applications development, biometric registration, refactoring, testing.

Caracas, Venezuela

I started as part of the team working on the customization of the C# main citizens registration application for an important project in Zambia. Then I was part of the final customization development for an important project in Mexico. It was temporarily sent to Mexico City, where I represent the team in the source code audits and participate in the pilot tests. Finally, a re-engineering of the main citizens registration application took place, where I was one of the core developers.KSA: C#, SQL, software engineering, API design, Windows desktop applications development, biometric registration, refactoring, testing.

I was hired as a software engineer in a junior role but quickly earn more responsibilities and get promoted to a senior role. However, in this company, there was no positions to differentiate the roles.I was in charge of the development of different modules of GEOMERU in which they could take advantage of my knowledge and abilities in physics and mathematics:* Design and development of a mesh generation algorithms for estimates of physical characteristics and fluid simulation.* Design and development of an interpreted language based on LUA with access to all information of the projects within the platform.* Design and development of a integrated IDE for the interpreted language in GEOMERU.* Design and development of a synthetic seismograms generation module for GEOMERU.* Design and development of mapping functions libraries.* Many other small libraries and user interfaces for GEOMERU.KSA: C, C++, Lua, boost, MFC, GDI+, DirectX, ATLAS, BLAS, LAPACK, SQL, software engineering, API design, Windows desktop application development, geophysics, refactoring, testing.

During the last year of my undergraduate studies I started working with my thesis supervisor in the study of solitons.
