Plan and Execute the project of "Refurbishment of a 8-meter-diameter Herrenknecht tunnel boring machine", where I managed the pre-assembly of the tunnel boring machine, developing specific work plans for the adequate fulfillment of the scope project; managing each of the phases divided into mechanical and electrical maintenance, monitoring methodologies and quality systems. I also was in charge of the assembly after maintenance was completed.Led the suppliers, subcontractor personnel and multidisciplinary teams. Follow-up the progress and development of the project, through the preparation of status reports presented weekly to the client. I was responsible for raising the productivity by 5%

Mechanical Engineer Responsible in one of the biggest construction projects in Venezuela called "Construction of the integrated transport system for the operation of Los Teques Subway", worth over ten billions USD.Managed the simultaneously excavation of two tunneling machines, diesel compressors, cooling towers, positive displacement pumps and construction equipment. Scheduling maintenance plans in three groups: predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, providing solutions to operational problems, achieved a 30% increase in productivity compared to the first phase of the project.Led a team composed of 25 technicians for the implementation of work methodologies and quality systems that allow the correct operation of equipment and facilities by applying the best maintenance practices. Increased the company's competitiveness and daily production goal.Prepared technical reports of the two tunneling machines, created a database to validate and justify programs of predictive and preventive maintenance. Reducing in 9% the breakdown time. Implement an upgrade of 2 Herrenknecht Tunneling Machines. These machines were adapted to excavate with pressures up to 4.5 Bar increasing their 3 Bar maximum design pressure. I elaborated the upgrade and maintenance schedule and managed its implementation. I also supervised the performance of the staff and contractors involved in the welding and mechanical daily tasks.Lead, planned and managed the project for Refurbishment a two Herrenknecht TBM with 5,88m in diameter, including start-up of both, developing specific work plans for the adequate fulfillment of the scope of the project; managing each of the phases of the project in compliance with the objectives of cost, time and quality.Modeling and 3D simulations using Autodesk Inventor software to illustrate concepts of improvements, give design concepts to manufacturers and for teaching purposes.Make technical presentations.

Monitor and analyse the TBM operational, mechanical and electrical parameters. I was in charge of thoroughly interpret the TBM database through specialized software such as Herrenknecht’s PDV and Maidl Tunnel Consultant’s PROCON. These analyses were a key tool to detect and correct multiple technical failures and operational mistakes.Managed and controlled the purchase process by properly selecting materials, tools and components necessary for the continuity of the project, establishing protocols and processes for the selection of materials, spare parts and tools, coordinating the requests suppliers, and guaranteed the timely reception of materials and tools.Generated and performed integrated control of reports, drawings and work documents to produce production and progress reports. Analysis of work progress, specific stops, maintenance, increase or loss of productivity during the excavation of the Tunnel Boring Machine.Monitored and analyzed operational parameters, detecting and correcting multiple technical faults and operational errors.Documentation management to control staff, equipment and materials in the job site.
