Serving as the most senior employee of the Technical Services Department, I performed a diverse range of activities, such as administrative, employee evaluation, expenses approvals, committee participation, department representation. Led a team of engineers, within the Bank’s Project Finance Group, in the successful development, closing and financing of nine (9) solar PV projects in the US, ranging from 5 to 40 MW of installed capacity, with a total investment of approx. US$460 million.Led a team of engineers, within the Bank’s Project Finance Group, in the successful development, closing and financing of three (3) wind farms, 2 in the US and 1 in Mexico, with a total of over 700 MW of installed capacity and more than US$1.3 billion in cost.Reviewed, negotiated and approved technical aspects of the renewable energy sector projects, such as final designs, energy assessments, due-diligence reports, EPC and O&M contracts. Coordinated the work performed by independent engineers (IE’s) for solar and wind projects.Coordinated the senior lender’s oversight of the project’s implementation, from construction to commissioning.

Working as the Business Development and Project Management lead at this small family engineering firm, focused on advising water and wastewater utilities and companies.

Developed and implemented the Metropolitan Water Quality and Wastewater Treatment Program to increase the coverage of sewage collection and treatment in the city from 2% to 90%, with treatment facilities projects ranging in size from 4 to 200 million gallons per day- MGD (175 to 8,800 liters per second-lps). Total investment approx. US$1.0 billion.Led the project development and electric utility company interconnection process for hydroelectric and biogas renewable energy generating facilities, ranging in size from 3 to 200 mega-watts (MW) of installed capacity.Led negotiations for land purchase of all project components.Led the procurement of external consulting and construction companies in the development and implementation phases of the projects.Led the preparation of preliminary studies, reports, final designs and bid documents for different components of the projects.
