In 2019, Alejandro started KALIRO Spirits to follow his passion in the world of craft spirits and has since launched 9diDANTE, a premium Italian Vermouth that has been met with high praise by industry insiders and consumers alike. In its first year of operations, the 9diDANTE is already available in 7 countries across Europe and has been recognized with some of the highest accolades, including Best New Launch and Best Worldwide Design at the World Drinks Awards.Prior to KALIRO, Alejandro served in Bacardi’s Global Executive Committee as President for Asia, Middle East and Africa. Previously he served in Global Marketing and General Management leadership roles at both Japan Tobacco International (JTI) and the Gallina Blanca Group.As a leader and a curious entrepreneur, Alejandro feels as comfortable in the board room as he does in the field. He is an energetic brainstormer known for constantly pushing the status quo in the search for sustainable business development. Passionate about developing and motivating high performance teams, he has a long track record of setting ambitious visions and delivering successful long term strategies. As a keen adventurer Alejandro has also successfully summited Mont Blanc; ridden a mountain bike around Annapurna in the Himalayas; and taken on some of the World’s toughest trail races, including the 340km Tor des Geants in Italy, the 170km Mustang trail in Nepal and the 112km Elbrus World Race in Russia.
