The management of the support provided to European Networks of cultural and creative organisations - one of the strategic actions of the Creative Europe programme aiming at structuring the cultural sectors2. A thematic dossier on "International cooperation outside the EU", which includes the management of (i) an action to strengthen cultural cooperation and capacities in the Western Balkans, currently funded by DG NEAR and (ii) the response to the War against Ukraine and its consequences for the cultural sectors in Ukraine3. A thematic dossier on "Cultural Heritage", which includes the management of a Pilot Project to establish a European Heritage Hub.I ensure the overall implementation of all these actions, which includes the design of the EU action/response and its translation into calls for proposals for project selection, the management of the selection process and contracting, providing strategic feedback to the hierarchy on the implementation of these actions and the provision of assistance/guidance, the monitoring of the beneficiaries’ common needs, of the overall situation of the concerned sectors, identification and promotion of synergies and the organisation of and participation to relevant technical meetings. As such, I also coordinate with different DGs including EAC, INTPA, NEAR. or other institutions such as the EEAS. As Project Adviser, I have an overall responsibility over a specialised portfolio on Heritage and EU external relations. My tasks include the supervision of the EU support to the sector, the provision of strategic feedback to both beneficiaries and hierarchy on the sector as well as on the related grant contracts (as this task includes the direct management of specific projects).
